Card Cleaning, Surface Treatment & Repair Disclosure

Ditto Again Sports is committed to transparency regarding the preparation, maintenance, and repair of cards offered for sale.

1. Surface Cleaning & Cosmetic Treatment

Certain raw (ungraded) cards may undergo limited surface maintenance prior to listing. This may include:

  • Use of dry microfiber cloths
  • Light application of water.
  • Limited use of a commercially available, non-abrasive scratch-reducing product to reduce the visible appearance of minor surface scuffs or surface haze

These actions are performed for presentation and preservation purposes only.

2. Card Repair & Restoration

Ditto Again Sports may, at times, perform minor cosmetic repairs or restoration work on certain raw cards. Such work may include:

  • Surface stabilization
  • Minor corner or edge reinforcement
  • Surface smoothing
  • Other cosmetic enhancements intended to improve structural stability or visual presentation

Any card that has undergone repair will be clearly disclosed within the individual product listing description/ or in our repaired card section.

Repaired cards may be described as:

  • “Repaired” ,“Restored”, or “Modified”

Or similar language clearly indicating post-production work

3. No Undisclosed Structural Alterations

Ditto Again Sports does not engage in undisclosed trimming, recoloring, counterfeit reproduction, or fraudulent modification of cards. All material treatment is performed with the intent of transparency and resale integrity.

4. Grading & Alteration Disclaimer

Buyers acknowledge and agree that:

  • Any cleaning, scratch-reducing treatment, or repair work may impact grading eligibility and final grade outcomes.Third-party grading companies, including but not limited to Professional Sports Authenticator, Beckett Grading Services, and SGC, maintain independent standards and may classify treated or repaired cards as “altered,” “restored,” or ineligible for grading.
  • Ditto Again Sports makes no representation or guarantee regarding grading results, authenticity determinations, or encapsulation eligibility.
  • Submission to any grading service is at the buyer’s sole discretion and risk.

5. As-Is Sale & Buyer Acknowledgment

All cards are sold as-is. High-resolution images are provided as part of each listing. Buyers are responsible for reviewing all photos and descriptions carefully prior to purchase.

  • By purchasing from Ditto Again Sports, the buyer acknowledges:
  • Awareness that certain cards may have undergone cleaning, cosmetic treatment, or repair
  • That grading outcomes are not guaranteed
  • That disclosed treatment or repair does not constitute fraud, misrepresentation, or undisclosed alteration

Returns or disputes based solely on grading outcomes or third-party classification of alteration will not be accepted when treatment has been disclosed.
